So we have more Movers than Kinecters in the audience. Is this because more of us have a PS3 than an Xbox? Or is it because of Yuki’s astute (and I believe accurate) observation that the Kinect is most likely going to appeal to the casual, family gamers and the Move will appeal more to the hardcore gamers. (I really hate differentiating between casual and hardcore with such labels, but at this point, I really have no idea how to better separate them.)
I sadly have not used my Move at all. I fired up Star Wars: The Force Unleashed this afternoon, and I really hoped that it would have Move support just because, well, just because. I guess it would have helped if I actually turned on my Move controller when I was playing, but the patch update I had to download immediately seemed to be only for Trophy support. (Yay for Trophies!)
But out with the Kinect in with Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood! That’s really all I care about this week. I’ve already gotten my confirmation that my beautimous Collector’s Edition strategy guide is en route and scheduled for a Tuesday morning delivery. I can pick up the game at midnight, but I don’t see me doing that. It’s not like I’d be able to stay up to play the game after midnight, so I don’t see the point in getting it then.
Aside from me, is anyone else excited about ACB’s release? Vote in the new poll to the right! And Blake, I know you aren’t, so you don’t have to reiterate.
