I am NOT quitting Dragon Age. At least, I don’t plan on quitting Dragon Age. I just hate the console controls for it, and I think it would be far more fun to play on the PC. I don’t feel like I have control of my party, and since you have to use more than just your character, it would be far easier to do this if 1) I had a different viewpoint of the game and 2) I had a mouse. What do you know? The PC suffices to both. I’m not going to buy another copy by any means, but a friend said he would loan me his copy when he finished. I like the story way too much to completely quit it, and the guide works for the PC version as well, so I win all around.
In the meantime, I have Uncharted 2 back in my sights. I played a little this week–Shawn being out of town really screws up my gaming schedule–and it took me a few seconds to refamiliarize myself with the controls. Once I did, I was instantly captivated with how great this game is. I had forgotten, silly me.
As for news on a Bayonetta guide, Amazon.com says that Future Press will be releasing one, but yet again I have no confirmation from the publisher itself. I’m on Amazon’s e-mail alert list for if and when the guide releases, but I don’t have very high hopes for it. We shall see.
